An excursion to the National Theatre might be just what you need to meet that celebrity you have always adored.
One of Nigeria’s finest and singer; Flavour, made the day for these students (see picture) during an excursion to the resplendent National Theatre.

A child’s education is not complete if the process is limited to the four walls of the school. Generally, excursion is a social tool to equip pupils, students, or any one with the knowledge of surrounding historical landmarks. It is also a very important and effective means of motivation and engagement in active learning experience; hence, schools are encouraged to adopt the practice of excursion because of its tendency to add reality to their learning experiences, enrich the subjects of study and motivate both teachers and learners.
It is against this background that we at the National Theatre invite students, schools and teachers in your school to take a one hour walking tour of our first rate facilities. The tour includes visits to our various events halls with state-of-the art sound and lighting equipment.
A behind-the-scene peek at our scene and prop dock, green rooms, light and sound booth.
A short session of tutorial on the background of the National Theatre.
A 25-minute clip of some cultural festivals across the country.
A 5-minute drama skit with full complement of a theatrical product.
(Payment is made on arrival at the National Theatre).
Please be informed that tours tend to fill up quickly, so we recommend that you make your tour reservation at least two weeks in advance. Tour reservation can be made via application letter or email; nationaltheatreng77@gmail.com or…
