The “Workers Day” was celebrated in grand style with education and motivation of her entire staff – courtesy the national Theatre General Manager/CEO; Mrs. Tola Akerele. The event was also graced by the staff Unions and representatives from their quarters.

Education – because staff were thoroughly enlightened via a seminar by a renowned consultant – Oluwayemisi Olaitan (PhD) on Worker life balance.

Motivation – because it was fun-filled

Generally The GM/CEO Mrs. Tola Akerele welcomed everyone to the event and admonished on the different challenges we face in our daily lives and that the speakers are here to help with ways to balance the challenges. And she also made the staff see the need of the event as a time of bonding.

The first speaker of the day Oluwayemisi Olaitan (PhD) spoke on “Living your best life achieving Balance, Wellness and Fulfillment” members of staff were empowered with the knowledge, skills and strategies necessary to live their best life.

The second speaker Comrade Ismail Ishola Adejumo, Chairman RATTAWU Lagos State Council spoke on ” Living your best life through Resilience, Advocacy and Solidarity: Harnessing Creativity for National progress in Challenging Times”.

While the third speaker Comrade Omotola Babatunde , AUPCTRE Federal organ Secretary, Lagos dwelt on “Origins and Importance”

There was Q & A session where the staff asked questions and also made contributions. Games were played within the Staff and the also GM/CEO took part in the balloon pop task game. It was indeed a time of merrymaking and bonding.
