The Permanent Secretary Ministry of Art Culture Tourism and the Creative Economy (FMACCE) Dr. Mukhtar Yawale has assured staff of the National Theatre that workers will soon return to their offices in the newly renovated edifice. Dr. Mukhtar Yawale gave the assurance while taking a tour of the multi-million multi-purpose National Theatre. He commended the staff for their steadfastness and endurance in the past three years, working in unpalatable conditions. However, the perm sec enjoyed the staff to change with the times as the new theatre will need dynamic staff. The perm sec was led on the tour by the GM/CEO of National Theatre Mrs Adetola Akerele, she was joined by the Artistic Director of National Troupe of Nigeria, Hajia Kaltume Bulama Gana.

The GM/CEO thanked the perm sec for the visit and gave assurance that National Theatre Staff will be retrained for better productivity in the new theatre.
After the tour which lasted for over two hours, Dr. Mukhtar Yawale met with the staff to further reasure them.
Others on the tour include Akudo-Nwosu, Ugochi , Director Entertainment and Creative Economy; Peter Mbam , Director Legal Services. Representatives of Central Bank, SANEF and Management Staff of the National Theatre.
