Get ready for an unforgettable adventure where imagination meets African creativity! Toontopia is Nigeria’s first and only Children’s Animation Festival — a joyful celebration of storytelling, art, and innovation.

Organised by SMIDS Animation Studios in collaboration with The National Theatre, Lagos, Toontopia provides children aged 8–12 with hands‑on experiences in animation, art, and digital creativity through workshops, film screenings, and fun learning activities.

In 2025, Toontopia welcomed over 100 children, parents, and educators, featuring award‑winning African animations from Nigeria, South Africa, Uganda, and Kenya.

Now, Toontopia 2026 is expanding to welcome 250 young creatives — a bigger, brighter celebration of African imagination! Adults accompanying kids do not need tickets; tickets are for children only.
